For Alicia, the role is rewarding because the work we do every day not only optimises our customers’ processes, it also reduces their carbon footprint.

In manufacturing and production, the use of energy-efficient and/or water-efficient techniques all directly lead to a reduced environmental impact, and Alicia also points out that there is less plastic dumped into the landfill because of our new solid’s technology.

With two young children and her work, there isn’t much room for other interests, but Alicia enjoys reading a good book and she loves to travel. She also makes time to exercise, and keeps fit by regularly attending her local Bootcamp classes.

Now based out of Auckland, Chris is an Independent Qualified Person for Cooling Towers registered with Auckland Council. He has a strong interest in our industry’s Health & Safety processes, as it is important to him to help prevent harm to himself and others. Besides his Certificate in IQP, Chris holds a Level 4 Certificate in OHS (National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety).

As one of Visentia’s knowledgeable Water Treatment Consultants, he enjoys helping customers improve their water systems through equipment automation. It is important to Chris to develop and maintain strong and long-term relationships with customers, and he does this by providing good results and by his ongoing focus on work-safe practices.

When not at work, Chris enjoys watching the Burnley Football Club who are based in Lancashire, England, and he plays in a 7-a-side football team to keep fit and have fun. From time to time, he enjoys a good beer, and he also likes to relax by going for walks on the beach with his family including the dog.

Before he entered the water treatment industry 10 years ago, Dylan worked in the Dairy Industry as a technologist involved in the process of helping to solve production bottlenecks. At Visentia, he works with customers in the Dairy, Geothermal, Protein (Meat and Poultry), and Wood Processing industries. 

Dylan, who is based in Hamilton and covers the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty, enjoys the variety of challenges to solve on customers’ sites.  Finding custom solutions to fit the needs of clients is what he does best, from improving their production and safety to lowering their total cost of production.

A father of three young daughters, he enjoys taking them to their bach in Cape Colville, and getting into outdoor activities such as fishing, diving, and hunting. He also enjoys taking part in social sports, and plays the odd game of rugby.

For the past 12 years, Thomas has specialised in industrial water treatment across a wide range of industries, with particular expertise in the food and beverage sector. His experience in Legionella risk management includes working as an independent consultant, conducting risk assessments of industrial cooling systems. He also currently manages the water chemistry of one of the few industrial boilers in New Zealand that adheres to IAPWS (International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam) cycle chemistry guidelines. Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly mountain biking and stand-up paddle surfing.

Jon has worked for some of the largest global water treatment companies and is an all-rounder, and at Visentia, he focusses primarily on Legionella risk management and Chlorine Dioxide applications. 

Over the years, Jon has had many different roles, but he really feels at home when working directly at our customers’ sites, as he enjoys being practically involved.

A natural problem solver, Jon’s approach is to get the sleeves rolled up and stuck in, to assist with solving the individual challenges our customers encounter. His extensive experience across many industries helps differentiate him, and he enjoys having the opportunity to work with fantastic people across a broad spectrum of industries, and helps tailor solutions to very specific industry challenges.

Jon is passionate about our industry, loves working with our customers and the Visentia team, and there’s nothing that gets him going more than a good challenge, except perhaps cooking a low and slow BBQ to enjoy with the family.

Marty has a positive and enthusiastic outlook in life, and excels in vision, leadership and people management. He is an out of the box thinker, who enjoys the opportunity to help customer operations, whether it has to do with quality, productivity, efficiency, safety, environmental, or the challenge of finding a way to optimise chemistry programmes or do more for less.

His spare time is mostly spent with family, as he has two young children who keep him busy during the weekends with sports and other activities. The Templetons spend most of their holidays at the beach on the Coromandel Peninsula and as the kids grow up, Marty would like to put some focus into fishing and the outdoors again.
